Bridgestone Duravis R250 review
What is it?
The Bridgestone Duravis R250 is designed for truck/van drivers who want a combination of heavy-duty load capacity, even wear and low noise along with traction on dry and wet roads. Highway Rib Summer tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
Strengths and weaknesses?
Great comfort characteristics, including a quiet ride. The Duravis R250 also reportedly is a very efficient tire, and delivers measurable fuel economy gains over alternatives.
Treadwear is also reportedly excellent.
Wet traction may not be a strong point.
How does it compare?
Specialized tire category and no comparative data available. The Duravis R250 is not as popular as the highway rib summer options from Michelin (Michelin XPS Rib) and Continental (Continental Vanco 2). Both of which have excellent user feedback. Take that for what it's worth.
- Treadlife Warranty: None
- Uniformity Warranty: First 1/32" of wear
Anything else to know?
As above, don't try to use them through a true winter.
