Continental VancoFourSeason review
What is it?
The Continental VancoFourSeason highway all season tire is designed for vans and trucks in need of heavy load capability and year-round performance, including through true winter conditions.
The VancoFourSeason served as the original equipment tire for certain model Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Dodge Sprinter full size vans.
Strengths and weaknesses?
Might be a more capable all season and wintry condition tire than alternative highway all season tires from Continental like the ContiTrac. However, the VancoFourSeason has yet to demonstrate winter capability along the same lines as the Firestone Destination LE 2, for example.
Overall, the VancoFourSeason possesses good all-around characteristics, including dry and wet handling and performance. However, user feedback suggests that the VancoFourSeason may suffer from quite limited treadlife.
How does the VancoFourSeason compare?
Direct comparison data is lacking, but Continental lacks a true top tier highway all season (winter included) tire, and there are no indications that the VancoFourSeason is an exception.
Anything else to know?
Continental is a proven manufacturer with a number of high quality offerings across numerous tire categories. However, they have failed to break through with a top tier option in the highway all season realm. You'll likely be better off with the alternatives from Michelin, Firestone, Bridgestone and Hankook, among a few others. We recommend exploring Tire Buyer for alternatives.
