Firestone Destination M/T review
What is it?
The Firestone Destination M/T off-road tire is designed for use on pickups and SUV's requiring maximum off-road performance and grip.
Strengths and weaknesses?
Excellent within its intended off-road application, and provides very capable snow/winter performance as well. Treadlife is also a strong point.
Like all other off-road maximum traction tires, noise can be a problem with regular road use.
How does it compare?
The Destination M/T is perhaps the most popular off-road maximum traction tire available and ranks second only to the BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 in overall user rankings.
- Treadlife Warranty: None
- Uniformity Warranty: First 1/32" of wear
Anything else to know?
The BF Goodrich may have a slight edge when it comes to sheer off-road capability, but the Destination M/T holds a major value advantage. In a common 17" size the Destination M/T is over $200 less expensive than the Mud-Terrain T/A KM2.
Like the more street-friendly Firestone Destination A/T, the Destination M/T is a compelling option when taking both price and performance into consideration.
