Bridgestone Duravis M773 II review
What is it?
The Bridgestone Duravis M773 II is designed for full-sized pickups, vans, SUV's and commercial vehicles looking for heavy-duty tires that can combine traction on the road and highway, as well as off road. The Duravis M700 HD is aims to provide on- and off-road traction in dry, wet and winter conditions, including snow.
Strengths and weaknesses?
Good treadlife with 60,000-70,000+ miles per set reported by some users.
Winter condition traction and off-road capability may be lacking as compared to alternatives.
How does the Duravis M773 II compare?
The "Duravis" line of commercial on-/off-road tires has a strong overall reputation. While lacking some of the sheer capabilities of the best tires in the category, they have a loyal following, and a reputation for good value, treadlife and comfort characteristics. While direct comparison data is lacking, indications are that the Duravis M773 II fits in with the associated Duravis tires from Bridgestone.
Anything else to know?
Limited 16" sizes available, and not inexpensive. For the money, and given the Duravis M773 II's average capabilities, you might want to consider alternatives. Options are limited, but the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac has a very favorable reputation within this tire category.
